Russian industrial band - live in Swiss!
 Le groupe « Sobaki Tabaka » est l’un des représentants les plus brillants de l’undergroud musical de ces vingt dernières années. Ses racines remontent à l’URSS des années 1980 lorsque le groupe portait le nom de « Crownear », jouait de l’« avant-garde metal », faisait des salles pleines et sortait des vinyles l’un après l'autre. « Sobaki Tabaka » s’est imposé dès le milieu des années 1990 pour devenir rapidement l’un des incontournables de la scène russe de style « industrial ». Usant de la provocation et détournant à son compte les canaux médiatiques de cette époque tumultueuse, le groupe a entrepris une véritable attaque virale sur les chaînes TV, les radios et même les théâtres d’époque, comme pour souligner la polyvalence de leurs ambitions artistiques. A chaque passage sur scène, c'était une performance saisissante et inoubliable qui renvoyait à des classiques du genre tels que Swans, Missing Foundation, ou encore Throbbing Gristle. En 1997, peut après avoir enregistré son premier album en studio intitulé «V mozg!..» (En plein cerveau), le groupe s'est produit sur scène avec les Einsturzende Neubauten dans le cadre d'un festival organisé par l'Institut Goethe de Moscou. Le public fut frappé par l'aspect extérieur des «Sobaki tabaka» et leur sonorité venue tout droit de l'au-delà. Vers la fin des années 1990, ils enregistrent leur deuxième album, «Teni sveta» (Ombres de lumière) composé partiellement de musique écrite pour une production de «Faust» A des périodes différentes le groupe a collaboré avec un grand nombre de personnes talentueuses, voire extraordinaires, tels que le metteur en scène Vladimir Epifantsev, l'actrice et chanteuse Katia Volkova (à l'époque, femme d'Edouard Limonov), la poétesse Alina Vitoukhnovskaya et bien des autres. Au début des années 2000 le leader du groupe Robert Ostroloutsky s'installe à Londres où il essaie de mettre sur pied son projet anglophone Positive Arrogance et enregistre un album trip hop avec des musiciens britanniques au célèbre studio Abbey Road. L'album est apprécié du public, et certains critiques le placent au niveau d'un Laika, d'un Recoil, voire d'un Massive Attack. Cependant, après une violente dispute avec les producteurs, Robert Ostroloutsky quitte Londres et retourne à Moscou. En 2005, le groupe renaît des cendres : le label moscovite Q-Code rec. réédite les deux premiers albums de «Sobaki Tabaka», le magazine Rolling Stone publie un important dossier consacré au groupe, qui recommence aussitôt à se produire activement sur scène. En 2007, après s'être produit avec le groupe américain Dalek, les musiciens commencent à travailler sur un nouvel album, «Naydou, oubyu!» («J'te trouve, j'te tue !») qui paraît aussitôt sous le label Soyuz Music rec. L'album a reçu un accueil positif dans la presse musicale et auprès du public. La palette créative du groupe s'est enrichie de l'influence de courants actuels tels que le noise-rock, le sludge ou encore le drone/doom ; pourtant, l'atmosphère est restée la même, reconnaissable dès les premières minutes d'écoute de l'album. Après s'être produits sur scène une dernière fois dans le cadre du projet culte Scorn, les musiciens se sont plongés la tête la première dans le travail en studio en prévision de leur quatrième album. Fin janvier 2012, le public européen aura pour la première fois l'occasion de rencontrer le groupe, avec le soutien amical du collectif suisse SLUDGE.  | | Saturday, January 14th, 2012 | 9:03 pm

Cuz that's the only way she's gonna learn!" or something and a woman is crying. I've heard it another song too, from Drown I think. What is that from?
